Requirements:

The software is intended to be used with host applications which support Wayland native plug-in GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces) via the following VST3 interface extensions:
- IWaylandHost
- IWaylandFrame
- kPlatformTypeWaylandSurfaceID
Known Limitations:
At the time of publication, Wayland’s design omits some functionality which desktop applications designed for X11, Windows and macOS may rely on to provide the intended user experience.
This may affect the stability and / or functionality of the software provided here. Therefore it should be regarded as functional, but degraded.
The implementation of the Wayland protocol by desktop compositors, window managers or other layers in the display stack and which are beyond our ability to resolve
may result in inconsistent performance including, but not limited to:
- Possible graphical rendering artifacts or display corruption.
- Instability issues specific to the Wayland environment.
- Unreliable or non-functional copy/paste operations between applications.
- Inconsistent application theming between applications.
- Inconsistent mouse cursor theming and / or scaling between applications.
- Inconsistent window placement – for example of external dialogues or configuration panels provided by the plug-in.
Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Session / Project Compatibility:
In order that this plug-in can coexist with versions designed for the majority X11 native host applications, it has been provided with a unique identifier which differentiates it from the X11 compatible released version. This means that DAW sessions or projects which reference this version of the plug-in may not be session compatible with the same DAW on other platforms using, for example, the X11 or Windows version of the plug-in.
Demo Limitations
The plug-in is free to download, however the plug-in will fade to silence periodically. In order to remove this limitation you will need a valid activation code. Users
who have a valid activation code for the ACM76SA plug-in will also be able to use that key to authorize the ACM76SA for Wayland hosts.
